April • AJAC and WorkForce Central Pierce County offer a pre-apprenticeship training program called the Manufacturing Academy
AJAC starts Aircraft-Oriented Machining Apprenticeship Program in Spokane at Spokane Community College

May • Four AJAC apprentices graduate from the Machining (Aircraft Oriented) Apprenticeship Program

June • AJAC offers European companies opportunities to train employees in Washington State

September • King County Aircraft-Oriented Machining Apprenticeship Program moves to Renton Technical College
AJAC’s Executive Director, Laura Hopkins participates in Project Pegasus, a consortium of invested industry partners who worked together to ensure that the 737 Max stay in Washington State
AJAC starts Aircraft-Oriented Machining Apprenticeship Program in the Tri-Cities at Columbia Basin College (CBC)

October • Department of Labor Air Washington Grant awarded to community and technical colleges and AJAC
