Donate your used machine shop equipment to AJAC

Donate Used Manufacturing Equipment

Have Surplus Equipment?

AJAC’s manufacturing apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs are expanding throughout Washington State. To meet these increasing demands, AJAC is seeking slightly used and not heavy worn out equipment for teaching. Our apprentices will use this equipment for hands-on learning during their apprenticeship classes. These classes take place at our partnering high school and community/technical college machine shops.

By donating your used equipment, you are also contributing to the education and training of a better prepared entry-level worker through AJAC’s pre-apprenticeship program. With your help, AJAC’s apprentices and pre-apprentices will learn on equipment currently used in industry.

Below is a list of equipment AJAC is currently seeking donations for:

  • CNC Mills
  • Manual Mills
  • Manual Lathes
  • Drill Presses
  • Sheet Metal Brakes
  • Hydraulic Sheet Metal Sheers
  • CNC Punch Press
  • CNC and Manual Mill Tooling and Holders
  • Hardness Tester
  • Hand Tools
  • Inspection Equipment

Tax-Deductible Donation

AJAC is recognized as a 501 (c) (3) organization by the IRS and donations to our organization are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Upon donation, your company will receive a receipt acknowledging the estimated value of your in-kind contribution.

Size Limits

Please note–current equipment needs limit the size and amount of single donations. Our organization has limited storage capacities and will only pick up larger materials/tools in specific cases (ie. anything requiring the use of forklift/truck pickup).
