  • Train Your Employees Without Stopping Production on Your Shop Floor with AJAC’s Mobile Training Unit

    Learn how AJAC’s Advanced Inspection and Manufacturing Mobile Training Unit (AIM-MTU) offers Washington State’s aerospace and manufacturing employers the opportunity to train their employees without stopping production on their shop floor. This new model of apprenticeship and just-in-time technical short-term training will bring manufacturing and inspection training to Washington State’s employers, so they no longer need to spend extra time and money sending their employees to an off-site training facility. With state-of-the-art equipment and highly skilled instructors, the AIM-MTU can provide employers with customized training that fits their needs and is on their schedule. Equipment includes: 3-D Rapid Prototype Technology, Portable ROMER Arm, Non-Destructive Inspection, a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and more!.

  • What is a Composite Technician?

  • AJAC-Fighting 147s AMTS

    In 2010, AJAC established the Fighting 147s, the Washington State Aviation Maintenance Technicians Schools (AMTS) Development Force. The purpose of this development force was to respond to a directive from former Washington State Governor Chris Gregoire to create ease of credits transfer between the five FAA approved Part 147 AMT community and technical colleges in Washington State.

    Upon successful completion of the required course of study at any of the AMTS, students have the opportunity to test for FAA licensing as an Aircraft Airframe and/or Powerplant Mechanic.
