Women and Diversity in Aerospace and Manufacturing

The Aerospace Joint Apprenticeship Committee (AJAC) strives to create a high-level of diversity among the aerospace and advanced manufacturing trades and throughout the aerospace apprenticeship program. To accomplish this, AJAC partners with Washington State organizations to provide training and support to both women and minorities so they can develop the skills and knowledge to begin their career as a machinist, aircraft mechanic, precision metal fabricator and more! In this section, you will find stories and resources focusing on minorities and women in the past and present who accomplished major achievements, overcame obstacles and used apprenticeship to start a career for themselves in the aerospace and advanced manufacturing trades.
