AJAC Emergency Grant

Application Details

About

Emergency funding to assist you with expenses may be available to you. AJAC receives a limited amount of funding from the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries to reimburse apprentices in need of emergency funding for approved purchases.

ALL requests must include a receipt, a copy of a paid invoice and proof of payment. This funding is a reimbursement – meaning an apprentice can only submit requests for something they have already paid for. Quotes, estimates, order confirmations, and pending purchases will not be approved for reimbursement.

How To Apply

  1. Fill out the Emergency Grant Application HERE
  2. Upload your supporting documents HERE

What types of supporting documents are accepted?

Supporting Documents must clearly show purchase or payment, the date the transaction occurred, the payment method, and the name of the person who paid (must be the applicant).

For rent or mortgage reimbursement we require a copy of the lease or mortgage with the apprentices name, proof of payment, and proof of residency (such as an electric bill or something with the apprentices name and address that matches the lease).
