AJAC’s Short-Term Trainings are designed for employers who need targeted skill development, fast. These courses take the core elements of our apprenticeship curriculum and deliver them in a condensed, hands-on format your team can use right away.

Whether you’re onboarding new employees, upskilling your current workforce, or meeting safety and compliance requirements, these trainings are built to be flexible, relevant, and easy to schedule.

Courses are offered on-site at your facility or at select locations across Washington, depending on the training and instructor availability.

CPR & First Aid Certification

Hands-on training that equips employees with life-saving CPR and First Aid skills and provides certification upon completion.

2 Hours (First Aid)
Cost CPR Only: $85 per person (includes certification card)
CPR & First Aid: $91.50 per person (includes certification card, 8 student minimum)
Minimum Students 6 (additional instructor required for groups over 9)
Location In-person; available in Snohomish, King, Pierce, and Yakima counties
Outcome Certification upon completion

OSHA 10

A foundational safety course that teaches essential OSHA standards to help employees recognize and prevent workplace hazards.

Length 12 hours
Cost $1,600 – $2,000 per group
Minimum Students 8
Location Onsite or designated training location
Outcome OSHA 10 certification

Forklift Operator Training

Practical, on-site training that prepares employees to safely operate forklifts and earn certification.

Length 8 hours
Cost $550 – $850 per session
Minimum Students Up to 8 participants
Location Onsite (equipment rental may be required)
Outcome Forklift certification upon completion

GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)

Technical training that builds understanding of GD&T principles to improve accuracy, communication, and quality in manufacturing.

Length Beginning: 16 hours
Advanced: 8–12 hours (coming soon)
Cost Beginning: $4,000 per group
Advanced: ~$2,500 (final pricing TBD)
Minimum Students 8 (base cost applies regardless)
Location Onsite at employer facility (in-person or virtual option available)
Outcome Classroom setup required (projector, desks, internet)
Advanced may require inspection tools (surface plate, calipers, etc.)
Additional Notes Pre-assessment available to determine appropriate skill level
