What is your favorite part about working in the non-profit industry?
The people and the mission. I have always worked in public service and the best part is, truly, the people. They are kind and interesting and inclusive. And we are all connected to a common mission to contribute something positive to the greater good.

If You Could Master One Skill You Don’t Have Right Now, What Would It Be?
Guitar. Since college, I would pick it up and learn a few chords and inevitably set it down again, never getting beyond novice. I hope that will change someday. And if I could master another skill, it would be Spanish fluency.

If we came to your house for dinner, what would you prepare for us?
Zucchini tostadas or pesto pasta with roasted veggies.

Which is your favorite four-legged creature and why?
I love dogs, but right now my favorite four-legged creature is my tuxedo cat named Bruno. She is feisty but gets especially cuddly in the mornings and loves chin scratches.

If You Could Live In A Book, TV Show Or Movie, What Would It Be?
Although many of the social constructs are problematic, I would love to live in The Great Gatsby—even just for a short period, like Owen Wilson’s character in Midnight in Paris.
