Committee Leadership

AJAC | Advanced Manufacturing Apprenticeships

AJAC’s Committee consists of four committee positions representing business and four committee positions representing employees (plus one alternate). Members are tasked with overseeing the administration and compliance functions relating to the delivery of AJAC apprenticeship programs across Washington State in partnership with AJAC staff.

Committee members enforce AJAC’s Standards of Apprenticeship as approved by the Washington State Apprenticeship Training Council for compliance with Washington State laws and regulations regarding registered apprenticeship training.

They also inform and vote on program and apprentice issues, to include: new or revised occupational offerings, rules that govern apprenticeship participation (for apprentices and employers), journey level wage rates, apprentices status changes, apprentices/employer discipline, and credit for prior learning/experience.
