Your Next Hire Could Start Here

Finding people who are prepared to work in manufacturing is one of the biggest workforce challenges facing Washington employers. AJAC helps companies build that talent pipeline before a candidate ever walks through the door.

Through the Manufacturing Academy, career navigation, and high school career and technical education partnerships, AJAC recruits and prepares people for careers in advanced manufacturing, then connects them with employers looking to hire and develop new talent.

Invest in the Pipeline. Strengthen Your Workforce.

Your company can invest directly in the talent pipeline. AJAC offers several levels of workforce development sponsorship, allowing employers to support everything from preparing an individual candidate for employment to building a larger pipeline of talent throughout the year.

As a nonprofit, AJAC combines public funding, private support, and employer investment to operate these programs. The full cost of running a Manufacturing Academy program, including student recruitment, hands-on instruction, career navigation, and employer engagement, is approximately $50,000 per quarter. Employer sponsorships help close that gap while giving companies a direct role in developing the workforce they need.

The result: more prepared candidates, stronger connections between employers and job seekers, and a more reliable pipeline into manufacturing careers and apprenticeships.
