Soft skills are non-technical skills that relate to how you work. In manufacturing, they include how you interact with colleagues, how you solve problems, and how you manage your work.

Our bootcamp covers many aspects of soft skill development including:

  • Self-Advocacy Training
  • Resume Development
  • Interview Techniques
  • Employer Tours

Technical Skill Development

Technical skills are the specialized knowledge and expertise required to perform specific tasks and use specific tools and programs in real world situations.

Our bootcamp provides basic foundational technical skills including:

  • Basic and Advanced Manufacturing Techniques
  • Shop Safety
  • CPR Certification
  • Lean Manufacturing Concepts

Program Details

Five separate one-week programs will be offered throughout July. Each program runs during a different week.

Participants will receive confirmation of the specific program dates upon registration.

  • Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • Days of the Week: Monday through Friday

Eligibility Requirements

There are some basic eligibility requirements for students to be accepted into this program. 

To be accepted into the program, you must be between 14 and 22 years old, Pre-ETS eligible, and able to commute to class each day.
