AJAC’s Youth Apprenticeship Featured on City of Tacoma’s ‘CityLine’ TV Show

AJAC’s Youth Apprenticeship program continues to garner attention across our region as the first group of students prepare to begin their apprenticeship in high school. Seth Hamilton, one of our state’s first youth apprentices sat down with AJAC’s Executive Director, Lynn Strickland, Labor and Industries Program Manager, Jody Robbins and TV host Carol Mitchell to discuss this state-wide initiative to provide young adults with job ready skills, apprenticeship hours, one-on-one mentorship and tuition-free college classes.

In this short segment, Seth talks about his future career in aerospace and why AJAC’s Youth Apprenticeship program will fast-track his skill set while in high school.

Special thanks to Carol Mitchell and Fred Yomes of CityLine for giving us the time to talk all things apprenticeship!
